TO
A mysterious being known as the Milkman (whom no one in the neighborhood has ever actually seen) grants the wishes of people who leave a note with their discarded milk bottles. To the horror of artist Garry Cooley (Robert Forster), he learns that the Milkman can mix up the meaning of the notes he receives if they're written metaphorically. This comes back to haunt Cooley when his wife Ruth (Shannon Wilcox), previously infertile after their first child, gives birth again.
