Well, we have a recent film by Martin Scorsese that became memorable right after he directed The Irishman but only this one, Killers of the Flower Moon, distributed by Apple TV+ and Paramount so yeah, I guess this film is not going to get a physical media release anytime soon because you know what they're like nowadays. I reviewed The Irishman because I'm still thinking about working on my reviews of Martin Scorsese's other films anytime soon and this is not the first time that this film from Apple Studios that got listed in the Academy Awards, I think the first one it did is CODA. Haven't seen it but I know what'll come to me. Anyway, Ernest Burkhart played by Leonardo DiCaprio, returns from World War I to live with his brother Byron and uncle William King Hale played by Robert De Niro, on his reservation ranch. Ernest develops a romance with Mollie played by Lily Gladstone, an Osage whose family owns oil headrights. They get married in an Osage ceremony with Catholic elements and have three children. About moments later, One of the Osage members and relations in the Osage Nation are being murdered after oil was discovered on tribal land and it looks like someone has ordered these murders to happen to the Osage culture. You know, a lot of these plot line tropes are known to be done to death but in many different culture of countries and that is why Martin Scorsese is known have those plot points in his own filmography without going too far on them. I know I looked online and I saw John Lithgow's in it including Brendon Fraser. I'm surprised they don't get enough screen time like I thought they would do. I just recognise somebody from the previous film, The Irishman. You may know a face but don't know a name once you watched the two back to back. Consider that movie is the last of Martin Scorsese before he directs something else first we have two actors, Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro, they both appear in many films by Martin Scorsese collaborating with him frequently. First off we have Robert De Niro. Yes, they're both so young at the time they both started making movies together collaborating with each other, the duo did Mean Streets, Taxi Driver, New York, New York, Raging Bull, The King of Comedy, The Last Temptation of Christ, Goodfellas, Cape Fear and the last one Robert stared by Marty way before he starred in The Irishman is Casino. And now Robert and Martin have both starred in an animated film by Dreamworks called Shark Tale, so yeah, what could possibly go wrong with Robert as a shark and Martin as a puff fish? Haha. And as for Leonardo DiCaprio however, he starred in Gangs of New York, The Aviator, The Departed, Shutter Island and then The Wolf of Wall Street. And now the two both starred together in Killers of the Flower Moon which Is actually amazing and all I can say, Marty can do no wrong. He's a fantastic director of all generation. What can I say about Killer of the Flower Moon that hasn't been said already? Well, all I say is that it's brilliant, just like many films that Martin Scorsese did. And considering it's three hours long just like The Irishman, I have no problem with it being three hours. Just the length which I know some people won't agree with me but that's fine. It's a masterful film with many aspects about it to enjoy with it's compelling story that had a lot to offer, acting that is immense, directing which I know Martin can do no wrong as I said today and the cinematography is very good in the right colour. Since of today I don't have the Apple TV+ material of watching this movie so now I have to watch it online since it impeccably caught my interest due to Martin Scorsese being my favourite directors of all time so I have to do just that and then review it like I doing right just now. Killers of the Flower Moon is a memorably epic anti-western film that really does get people's attention from Scorsese fans including film buffs since Martin has never done a western before. This might interest a lot of those who actually an Apple TV or not.
