The first track is fun with probably the most likeable instrumentation (thanks to the boom bap influence) but too much of this is preachy and Will trying to be motivational. His underrated and last album in '05, 'Lost and Found', has a better balance of conscious rap with party rap. His yelling of "you looking for me" on the second track sounds awkward. Too many of the beats reek of generic trap Beats: ★★☆ Rapping/Bars: ★★★ Hooks: ★★☆ Best Tracks: Int. Barbershop - Day, You Can Make It, Work of Art

I think this is the best Z-Ro project for a minute. The beats are better overall, with a larger portion of beats that bang, and he works well with Flip. Again, some of the topics are tired that Ro, and Flip as well, have been spitting about for 30 years, but there is enough to like and Z-Ro is as commanding as ever. For a posthumous album this is above average. It begins well with some banging beats and engaging hooks, but at 31 tracks, with a number of skits, it does drag on as it moves towards the tail of the album. Most of the better stuff is featured in the first third of the project. As his first two understated albums did as well, it shows that if Black Rob had a smoother life, we would've got a lot more projects and tracks to remember him by. Fifty minutes of consistent R&B. That's what this is right here. There are lots of good moments. The only down-side is the sound can be somewhat same-same making the songs stick together just slightly too much. Best Tracks: Chozen, Still Got Love, Waiting on You, Bandit in the Night

Don't let the Dre and TImbaland co-signs fool you as this isn't full of their beats. They both signed the rapper though who would kill his wife and then himself in a murder-suicide in 2014. What happened between this blotted but enjoyable 48 track mixtape dropping in 2010 and then, is not known to me. Maybe after this he had no more ideas... There are some weak moments with the bad things about 2010 hip hop being featured, but there are many songs with replay value. I hear the potential in Hayes. His voice gives off a Biggie vibe and at times the introspective and conscious lyrics hit home. Suicide and betrayal are a theme which is gloomy given what ended up happening. Best Tracks: That's Yo Ass, Get Money or Nothing, Say Something, Fuck With Me, Feels Good to be a Gangster, Changing, Sucka Fa Love, Back 2 the Liquer Store, Suicide, Smack a Bitch, Promise and a Plan, Real Niggas, Depending on Me, 5 for 45, Brains, Longest Time, My Soul
