I give this points for trying something different, and I did enjoy the journey, but it didn't completely work. A person in the cinemas behind me sighed anytime a song was starting. She should've been sighing at herself for going in blind. The fact that it was a musical isn't the reason it didn't work though, but the songs do take up the running time limiting the amount the story can be moved forward. By the time it was reaching the end, I knew there wasn't ample time for the third act that I was hoping for. We don't actually see the famed partnership of Harley and Joker in this either that may cause some fans of the usual canon to be disgruntled. I was hoping when Joker escaped that it set up the sequel for that in some way. I had same feeling others have had about the ending. Was it in some way a response to the lunatic left for their deranged response to the first film? A kind of 'I told you so'.

I'm all for this kind of '90s/'00s R&B ballads coming back into vogue, but albums like this aren't going to help the cause. There's nothing here that is going to get anyone excited, none of the hooks are that catchy, there aren't creative moments and the instrumentation is nothing great. It's consistently decent but there aren't any songs to save for later and all their other projects before this have higher high moments. Best Tracks: Forget, Going On

When Scott Crow isn't trying to sing, this is good, and fans of Televangel's production style will get something out of it, but God, I don't get how he has gone beyond singing in the shower. Best Tracks: Lightbringer, Radiation, I'm Still Here

I've spun this about five times, which I guess is evidence for it being easy to get through, but there's nothing noteworthy or memorable for having listened to it over and over. Marques raps a little and on songs like 'Tbwye' he sounds like Drake. Nothing bad. Nothing great. Best Tracks: The Best Worst Year Ever, Last Drop, Captain U, Sweet Rain

'No More' aside, that is great, this is an average R&B album that just comes and goes. 'The World to Me' is probably the next best. There are countless better R&B projects from the late 90's early '00s. Best Tracks: No More
