A lot of women are begging to watch the live-action version of Beauty and the Beast which I guess Disney is doing live-action films based on the animated films which Disney has made in the past decade. Mainly because they think they're better than the animated classics or they're not as good as the animated one's. Maybe I'm one of those people who think they're not as good as the original's. But now my sister put me a digital download of the live-action of Beauty and the Beast and had me watching all the way through. So, what did I think of it? Well, I gotta say, I love it! I am so dazzled and thrilled by this film. My sister made me watch it because she thinks it's beautiful and dazzling. Even I thought about as well. The colours from this film are absolutely gorgeous and the CGI is also good as well. The songs are still the same, not as good as the original. Like Jade showed me the song called ''Gaston'' where Gaston and Lefou singing but some lyrics in this don't match up like ''I needed encouragement, thank you Lefou.'' ''Well, there's no one as easy to bolster as you!'' and they're dancing on the table which reminds me of the theatre play based on this movie. Not to mention that Jade said that the acting is brilliant. And she showed ''Be Our Guest'' with some absolute dazzling colours in it. It's just unbelievable! The rest of the songs are memorable like the original but two of them are not in the original. Or is it three of them? Three of the songs are called ''How Does A Moment Last Forever'' ''Days In The Sun'' and therefore ''Evermore''. ''Beauty and the Beast'' is sung by Emma Thompson who is the voice of Mrs Potts and the ending credits Ariana Grande and John Legend. Right now I can't that song out of my head where Beast played by Dan Stevens singing ''Evermore'', believing the fact that the song in the end credits is sung by Josh Groban. It reminded me of Quasimodo singing ''Out There'' from The Hunchback of Notre Dame. I can't stand new songs but ''Evermore'' is the one that will be stuck in my head for weeks the same way ''Gaston'' will be, along with the other songs from this. Even the music sounded exactly the same, (like the most part) from beginning to end. It's Alan Menken. I think Ariana Grande and John legend will be the next Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson, much like Celine Dion had already sung ''How Does A Moment Last Forever''. No matter what I can say, the songs will be stuck in my head forever much like the original like ''Gaston'' where the lyrics are hilarious like the part which I've been singing along to is this ''As a specimen, yes, I'm intimidating!'' and the funniest part which I never expected is this, ''Too much?'' ''Yep!'' Haha, that has me laughing. I I have been teasing my drama teacher and my friend about the live-action version by saying ''When it was announced it was Beauty and the Beast. Many fell into despair and lost all hope, for who could ever learn to love a Disney reboot. However, from one critic, he has a bigger question in mind.'' ''What the f**k is the point of rebooting Beauty and the Beast?'' I won't go in too much detail what I just said to tease my friend and my drama teacher. Great cast in this like Dan Stevens, Ewan McGregor, Ian McKellen, A women's interest Luke Evans, Josh Gad and my favourite actor, Kevin Kline. It's directed by Bill Condon, the same guy who directed The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 and 2, which many people think The Twilight films are absolutely s**t and god-awful. I don't understand that Lefou is gay would be a controversial. I didn't even see it, but who cares. The box office results are absolutely mind-blowing. It earned more than $1.263 billion over the $160 million budget while the original earned $425 million. That's a damn impressive feet! Well, I gotta tell you, guys, I really love this movie. While I still prefer the original animation, the visuals are good, the characters are the same, the songs are unforgettable much like the animated version, it has great singing voices, the acting is the best and the ending is just beautiful. My friend and my sister is a huge fan of this movie. Well, if you're looking at this, I just want you to know, Congratulations. And you, my sister, All I'm going to say to you is thank you for making watch the live-action version of Beauty and the Beast. You made me smile all the way through the film. God Bless England.
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the special achievement that you all been waiting for, the sequel to the first film, Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Well, here it is, the sequel to The Terminator directed by James Cameron. It won 4 Oscars at the Academy Awards. One for Best Sound, Best Sound Editing, Best Visual Effects and Best Makeup. It was the highest grossing film of 1991 making up to $519 million over $102 million budget. How unbelievable is that? With Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor narrating having his son John Connor become the Human Resistance leader against Skynet - the artificial intelligence that will be given control of the United States' nuclear missiles and initiate a nuclear holocaust called ''Judgment Day'' on August 1997. But this film came out in 1991 so there's no way that'll happen in real life. Sarah was arrested and imprisoned at a mental hospital after attempting to bomb a computer factory. So why didn't it show about what happened back there? Why didn't it show about what happened after she got pregnent to John Connor and she got arrested? Oh well. Anyways, Arnold Schwarzenegger reprises his role as The Terminator, this time a good guy. He went to the bar, wore somebody's clothes, took some sun glasses and ride off into the motorcycle. But then, a new terminator called T-1000 played by Robert Patrick is sent back in time to assassinate John Connor but was confronted by The Terminator who is sent back in time to protect John Connor. You can see why The Terminator is the second terminator and he become good because the first from the first Terminator movie is evil 'cause Sarah killed it. As the Terminator shoots T-1000, you can see that he is liquid metal. He can go through objects, walk through fire and become different people. The visual effects on T-1000 is absolutely incredible. Earl Boen as Dr. Silberman is a psychiatrist of Sarah Connor. He only had a small from the first film. He sounds like Rex from Toy Story. He sounds so similar than Wallace Shawn. I don't know. I just thought about it years ago. Michael Biehn has a cameo role in this and his acting is brilliant in this where he warns Sarah that John Connor's the target now. The scene where The Terminator and John called the Foster parents and The Terminator can imitate voices and realizing they're already dead. So The Terminator and John breaks Sarah free from the hospital and T-1000. They rescued Sarah and The Terminator says ''Come with me if you want to live.'' Damn, I forgot about that quote from the first Terminator film like what Michael Biehn as Kyle Reese said and The Terminator imitating the voices. I like the scene where Sarah stops Miles Dyson, creator of Skynet played by Joe Morton from letting Judgment Day happen. The Terminator and John arrive at his house and warns him to destroy the items and the designs in Cyberdyne. There's an amazing scene where The Terminator cut his arm and pulls his off making him realize that he's a cyborg. So they went into the Cyberdyne building to destroy all the stuff and retrieve the CPU and the arm. Miles Dyson get shot and sacrifices himself by exploding the entire building. Now there's no way for him to kill himself because he got shot, I really like him. I really like that scene actually is because he gasping repeatedly and says ''I don't know how much longer I can hold this.'' I use to say that when I was feeling sick years ago. The chase scene and the final battle between The Terminator, Sarah, John and T-1000 is phenomenal. I even love the part where Arnold says ''Hasta la vista, baby.'' The final scene where the Terminator says goodbye to John Connor is actually kinda sad but aside from that he says '' I know now why you cry, but it is something I could never do.'' and went into the lava and gives John a thumbs up. Many people love this movie just like I do so does my friends Jacob Dimmock, Thomas Raddings and Shannon Walker. Everybody's a huge fan of The Terminator films. I definitely think the first and the second are as good as each other. Much like from the 1980s, it's not classed as a horror film. It's more than the 80s sci-fi action film much like what James Cameron and Gale Anne Hurd did. This movie is kind of long. I think it's 147 mins long. Not that long though but it's considered be the longest film of the franchise. As far as sequels go, this movie is considered one of the best, most greatest films of all times much like my favorite film The Terminator the first one. But the first Terminator doesn't include at the Oscars it's still one of the greatest films of all time much like the sequel. From the beauty and the majesty of The Silence of the Lambs and Disney's Beauty and the Beast, this movie is most thrilling, most watchable, most greatest and most high rated movie at all time. In the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger: I'm back!
Well, ladies and gentlemen, here it is. The one you all been waiting for, The Terminator, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and directed by James Cameron. And get this: my old friend Jacob Dimmock, he is a fan of Arnold Schwarzenegger and I think everybody's a huge fan of him. This is the first film I've ever looked that has an 100% rating from critics from Rotten Tomatoes and one of Arnold Schwarzenegger's best films. You can't really go wrong. It's just unbelievable. OK, I'm going to tell you the details. Arnold Schwarzenegger plays an evil cyborg aka The Terminator sent back in time from 2029 to 1984 (the film is been released in the year 1984) to kill Sarah Connor played by Linda Hamilton before she gets pregnant to the boy who will one day become a savior against machines in a post-apocalyptic future. So he walks naked and comes across the three punks. One was played by the memorable Bill Paxton and two of them I don't know. One of them said ''Nice night for a walk.'' and ''Nothing clean, right?'' and The Terminator starts copying what he is saying and he says ''Your clothes. Give them me, now.'' and the punk leader says ''F**k you, a**hole!'' so the Terminator starts beating the punks and kills one of them by punching through his chest, pulls his fist out full of blood and holding his heart and one of them takes his clothes off and makes him wear them. I didn't know he punches through his heart at first because all I can see is a pool of blood but I think my brother had a reaction from that scene what The Terminator had just did. Then we see Michael Biehn as Kyle Reese as an soldier from the future (one possible future) sent back in time to protect Sarah Connor and the first chase scene is gripping it's dark. There's a scene where Sarah goes to the nightclub where the 80s party songs are on is a scene where she's been tracked down by The Terminator and Kyle Reese but Reese protects her from The Terminator before he kills her. I love the pacing and directing for this scene, it's unbelievably brilliant. Now the second chase scene where Kyle drives away from the cyborg Terminator and explains to Sarah that The Terminator can't be bargained with and can't be reasoned with and doesn't feel pity, or remorse, or fear and absolutely will not stop ever, until she is dead. Now the scene The Terminator is cleaning himself by cutting through his wrist and wipes his face and eyes but pulls his eye out and use a cloth to clean through his eye patch and as you can see Arnold looks so different when he get the cloth out of his eye and you can clearly see that his eye is an robotic cyborg skeleton. OK, there is a shootout scene after Arnold famously says his memorable favourite quote of all time that many people has impressed and blown away by is ''I'll be back.'' I bet he says that at every single movie he does. And there's a scene where the person says ''Hey, you got a dead cat in here or what?'' and The Terminator chooses the possible response choosing Yes/No or What?, Go away, Please come back later, F**k you, a**hole and F**k you. He chose by saying ''F**k you, a**hole.'' I even chuckled at that scene. And that it, that's the end of it. I didn't tell about The Terminator killing the wrong Sarah Connor or the ending cause I think you and the audience in the world have already know that movie by heart. Arnold Schwarzenegger doesn't talk much in this film because The Terminator is so quiet and keeps in character while filming. That's why his character is so great in this film. Linda Hamilton is great in this so is Michael Biehn and all the actors and actresses who did their fantastic portrayal in this movie. Well, guys, I guess you've all know this movie by heart and James Cameron and Gale Anne Hurd did their fantastic job making this film. Even the special effects at the end looks sort of Stop-Motion-ish. I don't know, it looks like it's from the older films like Sinbad and King Kong and all the other dinosaur films. Jeez. Anyways, The Terminator is one of my favourite films of all time along with the others like Die Hard, Lethal Weapon, Highlander, Goldeneye, Bird On A Wire and many more. So I guess this is it then. 10/10. Favorite of all time. Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.
I've been wanting to see this in the few weeks and yes it is quite good but what I am not expecting is I've had a reaction to Deadpool appearing in the opening but that wasn't the case of it. I was expecting to see a 20th Century Fox logo at the beginning, but no, it's just the trailer of the new Deadpool movie coming out next year. It's not the opening scene where you can see the Deadpool character, it's just the trailer. I have seen the film, Deadpool but I wasn't expecting to see him breaking the fourth wall. OK, I know you're thinking I'm going off track of this review but that's just the thought on the opening before the film is starting. Logan is a film released this year 2017 before the live-action Beauty and the Beast. Me and Dad had been watching last week on Saturday and yes, I wasn't expecting to see Deadpool at the beginning (which is a trailer new film coming out next year) before the 20th Century Fox logo is coming. I just hope the Marvel logo in the recent films and films next year would stay in the very beginning just like all studio logos did. Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart reprised their roles one last time in the most recent film of the X-Men franchise because this is the last film that Hugh Jackman playing Logan as Wolverine and Patrick Stewart as Professor Charles Xavier. Hugh Jackman's performance is fantastic, Patrick Stewart's character is in the wheelchair and this kid I don't know who she is and I've never seen her before in my life and also Stephen Merchant is in this. I actually liked this film despite it's violence with blood and guts which is unexpected for an X-Men. Actually liked it so did my Dad and was left blown away by it. I was telling my Dad that why does it have blood and huts when all the other X-Men films didn't and he says ''Well, it's because the filmmakers wanted to make something different and making it 18, 15 and 12 and rated PG, PG-13 and R making it for kids and adults especially teenagers.'' I know that this movie is going to be rated R at first before the film is released. When we're watching it I was thinking to myself ''this doesn't even seem like an X-Men movie.'' With this movie it is something that people watch and they and I didn't expect to see which direction is going. I know about the plot twists and I think this film is absolutely fantastic. And I guess this is the last X-Men film to be made and of course Hugh Jackman and Patrick Stewart are their last roles and I still haven't seen the new X-Men films, X-Men: First Class, The Wolverine, X-Men: Days of Future Past and X-Men: Apocalypse and yes I have seen the old one's and I think this is the only R rated movie I've ever watched in cinema's. What a tremendous superhero action movie! Congratulations!
Ahh yes, I've never been to the cinema for years and all I gotta say I like Star Trek. My dad likes the TV series. I think my favorite character is got to be Spock. I wasn't expecting to hear the swear words in it cause I think it doesn't work as a Star Trek movie. The Special Effects are fantastic like the others Star Trek movies. The acting is brilliant. When I was the movie's almost finished I was desperate for the toilet but I don't want to miss any scenes from this movie because it's not gentleman like. The villain is great, I wasn't expect to see him in human form. The actor who played the other Spock died last year and it's a shame. I think there's a scene where Spock looked at his photo just the movie pay the tribute to his father Leonard Nimoy. RIP While the movie is finished I think there's going to be a sequel to this because the ship is been rebuilt and the narrator is using the same quote from the TV series. The Special Effects are fantastic, the acting is brilliant, the characters are well developed, it's just a huge success of the franchise and I think I'm getting into Star Trek now even my dad liked it. That's why it gets a 9/10.
